　「GANTZ」などで知られる人気漫画家・奥浩哉の「いぬやしき」の実写版。「GANTZ」シリーズをヒットに導いた佐藤信介監督が再び手がけ、ハイクオリティなCG技術を駆使したSFアクションムービー。

　墜落事故に巻き込まれたことから突然サイボーグとなってしまった冴えないサラリーマンの犬屋敷壱郎と男子高校生の獅子神皓。自分以外の人間を憎んでいた獅子神はその力を使い人々を傷つけていた。そんな彼を止めるべく立ち上がるサラリーマン犬屋敷。善のサラリーマンと悪の高校生の戦いを描いた作品となっている。

　自分の力を人助けのために生かす主人公の犬屋敷役に木梨憲武、同じ能力を手に入れるも悪用する大量殺人鬼の獅子神役を佐藤健が演じ、さらに日本を代表する豪華キャスト陣らの出演も見どころの一つだ。
